Good morning, Windows XP users

Did you get the new Service Pack today? Fun, wasn’t it?

Did your Wizard have a “clean-up” phase too? Mine did.

I wonder what it cleaned up, since Ccleaner managed to find 144 things to clean after Windows had cleaned… ;)

Delboy’s Blog, “an IT professional who has been working in IT for over 15 years now”, reports:

I can say that the download and install takes about an hour but it did install well and so far I have not had any problems with any of my machines.

He goes on to praise the new package. I too am impressed so far.

    Should be your latest Patch Tuesday (Wednesday here) update… Took ages, but it is practically a new operating system.
