Why the USA should elect McCain and Palin…

12 Oct

Today at Sunday lunch in the Bat and Ball M, who is from China, explained to Sirdan and I why he hoped McCain is elected.

pm 018

“Because,” he said, “it will be good for China.”

How so?

They would pursue a foreign policy that would continue to bleed the country dry and thus would become even more beholden to Chinese capital… Good for China.

Interesting theory. US patriots should consider it?

Hi Neil, I come here via Jim Belshaw’s blog. I was fascinated by your comments on his blog and requested for your blog’s link. I am glad that I did.

Without being facetious, this is indeed a picture painted by many American commentators too. You might like to visit

Welcome, rummuser. I have noticed your comments on Jim Belshaw’s blog. Sorry about the delay with your first comment, which went into limbo as suspected spam… WordPress does this if there are links in a comment sometimes.

Oh yes, I too have had to handle such problems. I have put in Akismet in my blog which does a reasonably good job but sometimes it does block good comments as well.
